Signoria Mare Beach
Owned by the luxury hotel La Signoria, located at the entrance to the town, this stretch of white sand is a favorite with holidaymakers. Visitors come here to stroll with their loved ones or family, to enjoy precious moments of relaxation on the sun loungers and in the shade of the parasols, or to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. At the eponymous hotel, guests are welcomed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a choice of comfortable accommodation and a host of services, including a spa.
Algajola beach (Aregno)
The beach at Algajola is a haven of peace particularly popular with locals and visitors alike. Bordering the seaside town of Aregno, between Calvi and Île Rousse, it offers a breathtaking view of the Grande Bleue. Visitors come here in the afternoon or at the end of the day, after visiting some of the must-see sites in the area, such as the Calvi citadel or the port of San Damiano. It’s also close to the Chapel of Saint-Michel, an architectural treasure whose origins date back to the 12ᵉ century.
La Pinède Beach
La Pinède beach offers a calm, leafy setting at the end of the Gulf of Calvi. Its magnificent white sand and crystal-clear Mediterranean waters are equally appealing. People come here by car, train or on foot to relax, swim and enjoy time with family and friends. La Pinède beach is also famous for the ” Calvi On The Rocks ” festival, held every year in July.
The Gulf of Calvi
The setting of the Gulf of Calvi marina leaves no one indifferent: a beautiful stretch of white sand bordered by crystal-clear waters, you couldn’t dream of a better setting for an afternoon with friends or family. The beach attracts holidaymakers and locals alike. A variety of facilities are available, including sunbeds and umbrellas that can be rented for pleasant moments of idleness. Of course, you can also enjoy water sports such as jet-skiing, kayaking, windsurfing or catamaran sailing.
Sainte-Restitude Beach
Sainte-Restitude beach is located just outside the town, in the direction of Lumio. Around 150 m wide, it’s a perfect haven for relaxing or strolling. It is not, however, suitable for swimming, particularly with children. Summer visitors are nevertheless reassured by the presence of a first-aid post in July and August.
